Linbit remote cluster

Hello,
I a have a 4 node proxmox cluster and I’ve deployed a 3 node linbit cluster aside of proxmox.
Proxmox nodes: pve02, pve03, pve04, pve05
Linbit nodes: linbit-01, linbit-02, linbit-03

I successfully connected proxmox nodes to the linbit cluster but when I try to schedule a virtual machine that uses the linbit storage I get an error like that from the linbit cluster:

Node ‘pve02’ not found.

Is it possible to use remote linbit clusters with ProxMox, or always proxmox nodes must be part of the linbit cluster?

After I installed satellite service on all proxmox hosts and added them to the linbit cluster, I succeeded to use the storage.

Yes, the LINSTOR satellite service is required so LINSTOR can manage Diskless attachment of the DRBD devices between the storage nodes and the Proxmox VE nodes.
