DRBD & Proxmox 7.0 kernel

Hi,

I’ve learned last time the hard way that I shouldn’t install asap a new kernel if I’m using drbd :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Any info about support of drbd 9 for the new proxmox 7.0 kernel?

I did this in a test environment and it works with latest proxmox-kernel and latest drbd version.
I also needed to verify this :slight_smile:

We provide a DKMS package for the DRBD kernel module for Proxmox. DKMS should automatically compile and install a new compatible kmod whenever the kernel package is updated. If that failed for you, then we’ll need some additional information to try and determine why this failed.

I’ve been advanturous and installed the new kernel.

Installation works smooth and Proxmox seems to be stable but now this happens on some VMs without any indicator:

Happens every 12h - 48h

Any suggestions?

Update:

Proxmox released the new 7.0.2-2-pve kernel.

Since this update all is back to stable again.
