Hi

A “solved” functionality for threads would be helpful to mark answers that lead to a solution. This makes it easy for future readers to see in long threads where the solution will be found, and which threads have been solved.

Best,
Hiu

Thanks for taking the time to give this feedback. While we investigate adding this functionality to the forum platform, in the meantime, you might add “Solved:” to any topic subject lines that you have created and that have been solved.

I’d like to mark [#795](https://forums.linbit.com/t/linstor-ha-with-proxmox-systemd-degraded-after-reboot-of-backup-node/795) as `Solved:` but I don’t see any way to edit the subject line. Either I’m being dense, or I don’t have sufficient privileges to do so.

We are working to implement “Solved + Solution” tagging in the forum. Until then, you might use a hack and edit the topic title to be “Solved: […]”.

Right, but how do I _actually_ edit the topic title? I see no pencil icon next to the subject line. If I click on the subject line, it’s just a hyperlink back to the same topic.

Apologies. Had my moderator glasses on and didn’t realize that editing a topic title might not be a common privilege. I edited the topic title and sent a reminder note to the team about implementing solved + solution tagging.

Thanks for your patience in the meantime.

We’ve enabled a feature that should now allow for forum users and admins to mark topic replies as solved.
