# DRBD on ZFS ZVOL or LVM LV: Keeping snapshots in sync

Scenario: plain DRBD on top of ZFS ZVOL or LVM LV

Is it possible to implement snapshot creation in such a way that, in the event of a coordinated rollback on both sides of the DRBD mirror, no full synchronization or verification run is necessary to compensate for any potential delta?

How are you creating and restoring the snapshot? Are you using `linstor snapshot create` and `linstor snapshot rollback`? And if so, are you saying that you find a full sync takes place? What version of Linstor are you running?

If you can provide a description of your environment and the sequence of operations which causes the behaviour you’re seeing, that would be useful.
